KYIV, July 8 – The European Union will help Ukraine switch from fossil fuel energy to renewable energy, Hans Van Steen, acting Director for Renewables, Research and Innovation, Energy Efficiency of the European Commission, said.

The EU will support Ukraine’s approach towards decarbonization and will continue harmonizing the EU and Ukraine policies, he said at an online conference devoted to the closure of EU Twinning project which offered an analysis of the results and a discussion of the new European Green Deal.
