KYIV, June 30 – Ukrzaliznytsia is ready to transport 60% of grain export volume, which is expected to reach 33 million tons, in the marketing year 2020/2021, the company reported after a meeting with grain market participants and business associations.

Ukrzaliznytsia notes that the main directions of grain transportation by rail in the next marketing year, as in the previous season, remain transportation through ports. The volume of transportation and the turnover of grain carriers depend on their throughput and processing capacity, as well as high quality transportation planning.
