KYIV, June 17 – Ukraine may have two pension systems running from 2021 at the same time, including one for all potential pensioners and one the people entitled to a preferential pension, Social Policy Minister Maryna Lazebna said.
"It is planned that all potential retirees can take advantage of the funded pension system. I want to say that there are two separate funded pension systems. The first is the introduction of a mandatory funded pension system starting from 2021... We are also working on a second funded system, but for people aged under 35 working in jobs, which entitle them to have a preferential pension... We envisage in the bill that a professional funded system can be introduced in 2021," Lazebna said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
