KYIV, June 16 – Ukrainian farmers asked President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to prevent the introduction of duties on imported diesel fuel and liquefied gas amid fears this may add UAH 2 billion to their costs annually.
The open appeal to the president was released on the website of the Agrarian Union of Ukraine. The farmers urged the president and the prime minister to intervene in the situation and prevent the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine under the Economy Ministry from adopting a decision on the introduction of duties on imported diesel fuel and liquefied gas.
