KYIV, June 12 – The companies in the renewable energy industry that did not agree or will not agree to sign a memorandum with the government on the terms of further support for renewable energy sources (RES) have the right to defend their interests in Ukrainian and international arbitrations, Managing Partner of IMEPOWER Yuriy Kubrushko, who participated in the negotiations with the Cabinet of Ministers, said.
"The memorandum is signed voluntarily. That is, those companies that agreed on its terms, expressed their readiness to follow them. Those companies, which did not agree have the same rights as now, that is, to defend their interests, in particular in Ukrainian and international arbitrations," Kubrushko said through the Energy Reform online portal.
