16,000 Ukrainians applied for work visas in Poland after virus lockdown ended
Journal Staff Report

KYIV, June 8 – Almost 16,000 Ukrainians applied for work visas in Poland following the end of the coronavirus lockdown at the end of May, Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki said.

"I'll give you the latest data that I have: since the resumption of the work of visa centers and consulates, we have received 16,000 applications from Ukrainians for work visas. On average, we now issue a visa the next day, because this is a very easy process and a priority matter," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
