KYIV, June 8 – Ukraine’s largest steelmaking plant, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, urged lawmakers to amend legislation to postpone for at least a year the increase in iron ore production royalty due to a crisis triggered by the coronavirus pandemic.

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih top managers sent a letter to Parliament’s Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy and the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development, as well as to the Office of the President of Ukraine and the Executive Committee of the National Reforms Council.
