KYIV, June 4 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny expects the energy regulator soon will make decisions to ease the rules of changing a supplier of natural gas by households as part of the opening of the retail market scheduled for July 1, 2020, Head of Naftogaz Ukrayiny gas supplying company LLC Maksym Rabinovych said.

"In the near future, NEURC [the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ukraine] should adopt a resolution that simplifies the client's transfer procedure, in particular, shorten the transition period to no more than 21 days. The transfer can be carried out in various ways: not only in the service center, but also online, through authorized agents, and always with a minimum a package of documents," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
