KYIV, May 25 - As part of the reform of the state defense concern Ukroboronprom, Ukrainian arms makers will be allowed to export their products directly without a state mediator, Deputy Foreign Minister Yehor Bozhok said.

For a long time, the only entity that had the right of a special exporter was Ukroboronprom concern, namely its seven subsidiaries: Ukrspecexport, Progress, Spetstechnoexport, Ukroboronservice, Promoboronexport, Tasko-Export and Ukrinmash. Now, as part of the reform, it has been decided to abandon this monopoly and allow Ukrainian producers to export products, and I emphasize this, of their own production," Bozhok said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
