Ukrainian titanium firm complains high power prices hurt business

KYIV, May 13 – Ukrainian industry is losing competitiveness due to rising power prices, CEO of Velta industrial and commercial firm with titanium ore production assets in Ukraine Andriy Brodsky said on the air of ICTV television channel.

"Electricity prices are falling on all world markets, while tariffs are rising in Ukraine. Consequently, internal industrial enterprises, which are the largest tax payers, are losing competitiveness," he said.
