KYIV, May 12 – Shopping and entertainment centers in Ukraine lost about UAH 7 billion of rental income in the two months of quarantine, and their tenants lost more than UAH 50 billion of goods turnover, according to the calculations of the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers.
"According to our estimates, Ukrainian shopping centers lost about UAH 7 billion of rental income in the two months of quarantine. Tenants of Ukrainian shopping centers lost more than UAH 50 billion of turnover in the two months. All service companies suffered as well. Those tenants who worked during the quarantine (grocery stores, communications devices), lost in turnover from 15% (supermarkets) to 50% or more (communications, pet products, household chemicals, etc.)," the head of the council, operations director of Budhouse Group Maksym Havriushin told Interfax-Ukraine.
