KYIV, May 12 – Ukrainian steel companies will reduce steel production by 4.1% on the year to 20 million tons in 2020, according to the forecast by the association of scrap metal and recycling UAVtormet.

Some 2.7 million tons of scrap metal will be required to produce 20 million tons of steel at Ukrainian metal enterprises (a decrease of 10.3% compared to 2019, when 3.011 million tons of imported scrap metal was delivered), UAVtormet reported.
