KYIV, May 12 – The Ukrainian army received 300 new, restored and modernized armored vehicles in January through May, Ihor Fomenko, the Deputy Director of Ukroboronprom, said.
"In the first quarter of 2020, Ukroboronprom fulfilled a plan for equipment output of more than UAH 1.7 billion. This is about 2.5 times growth compared to the same period last year. Kyiv Armored Plant, Malyshev Plant, and Kharkiv-based Morozov Design Bureau of Engineering are the champions. These enterprises showed the most noticeable increase in equipment output, including due to a change in management of these plants and new management approaches initiated by Ukroboronprom," the company said.
