KYIV, May 7 – Foreign investments will account for more that EUR 2.5-bln, or 30% share, of the country’s renewable energy projects by the summer, Managing Partner of IMEPOWER Yuriy Kubrushko and its adviser Viktor Koval said.
The contribution of foreign investors to the sector development is undervalued. "Over the past years, some politicians and reporters have imagined the green energy industry of Ukraine as a sphere in which only oligarchs and persons affiliated with various officials work. Moreover, the fact that over the past years numerous foreign investors have come to this sector was persistently ignored," the IMEPOWER representatives said.
