KYIV, May 6 – Ukraine increased natural gas by 60% on the year, or by 1.5 billion cubic meters, in January-April, to 3.9 billion cubic meters, according to a statement by Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU).
At least 2.4 billion cubic meters of gas were received from Slovakia in the first four months (a rise of 1.9 times compared to January-April-2019), Hungary – 0.9 billion cubic meters (a rise of 26%), Poland – 0.6 billion cubic meters (a rise of 28%). At the same time from Poland 0.38 billion cubic meters of gas was imported as virtual reverse flow.
