KYIV, May 4 – Ukraine has tested gas supplies from Slovakia to Poland via its gas transmission system (GTS) and also from its underground gas storage (UGS) facilities to Poland, Head of Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) Serhiy Makogon has written on his Facebook page.

He recalled that a transit contract between Poland and the Russian Federation for deliveries through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline with a capacity of 33 billion cubic meters expires on May 18, 2020. The final arrangements are not yet known. Also, as of April 27, Gazprom did not comply with the Award of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce to revise the price formula for a contract for gas supply to Poland through the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline.
