KYIV, May 4 – Transit of natural gas through the gas transmission system (GTS) of Ukraine in January-April 2020 decreased by 47.1% (by 13.8 billion cubic meters) compared to the same period in 2019, to 15.5 billion cubic meters.

According to Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU), in particular, in the western direction, transit amounted to 14 billion cubic meters, which is 41% less than in the four months of 2019, in the southern (the Balkans) 1.5 billion cubic meters (71% less).
