KYIV, May 4 – Cooperation between mobile communications operators in implementing the principle of common access to infrastructure would allow considerably cut investment in coverage of remote areas for each company, CEO of lifecell mobile operator Ismet Yazici said.
"After all the conditions for covering the territory with mobile communications were spelled out, we turned to all regulators and market players with the following: instead of investing huge amounts of money three times and spending time building three different networks, let's unite and use the infrastructure sharing principle as soon as possible and build a full-fledged wide network. However, nobody heard us," Yazici said.
