KYIV, April 30 – Former Georgian President and former Odessa region governor Mikheil Saakashvili will probably be appointed to another position after his nomination to the government faced opposition, a senior lawmaker said.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy sought to nominate Saakashvili as the deputy prime minister for reforms to help Ukraine secure lending from the International Monetary Fund, but lawmakers appeared to be lukewarm to the idea.
