KYIV, April 30 – Majority of Ukrainians said they will not be visiting shopping malls as frequently after coronavirus lockdown is lifted amid declining incomes and concerns of that illness may further spread, a study showed.
Over 52% of Ukrainians plan less visits to the malls, according to a study conducted by NAI Ukraine, the consulting company.
Specifically, a quarter of Ukrainians will cut visits to shopping centers due to lower incomes, 19% are afraid of contracting the virus while visiting crowded places, 9% prefer to shop online, about 4% of Ukrainians do not plan to visit shopping centers, and 8% have not yet decided.
