KYIV, April 29 – Tedis Ukraine distribution company and tobacco manufacturer estimates the fall of the overall Ukrainian tobacco market by 5-7% in March 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, driven by lockdown measures.
"Lockdown affected the market as a whole. According to our data, about 2,100-2,600 licensed retail outlets closed due to lockdown, which is about 4% of the total number on the market. We estimate the average reduction in the overall tobacco market at 5 -7% in March," the company told Interfax-Ukraine.
