KYIV, April 24 – The implementation of the European Green Deal requires from Ukraine to coordinate more closely with the European Union on energy policy issues, which will allow receiving help and making such changes inside the country, Visiting Professor at King's College London, founding Chairman of the Kings Policy Institute, author of the Financial Times weekly blog on energy issues Nick Butler said.
"It is important for Ukraine to coordinate its actions with this deal, if it seeks to remain in the orbit of the EU... If Ukraine cannot coordinate its actions with the European Union, it will actually be more economically attached to Russia, and ties with Europe will become more distant," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
