KYIV, April 28 – Ukraine’s largest natural gas producer, Ukrgazvydobuvannia, reduced output 0.4% on the year to 3.4 billion cubic meters in January through March due to coronavirus pandemic, the company reported Tuesday.
The government will start to gradually reopen the economy on May 11, easing the lockdown that was in place between March 24 and April 24.
Oleksandr Romaniuk, the first deputy director general of Ukrgazvydobuvannia, said the company’s revenue will probably drop this year due to lower demand for gas amid coronavirus outbreak.
