KYIV, April 27 – Ukraine is making every effort to turn the exclusion zone around the defunct Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant into a safe territory of change and the development of modern technologies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said.

"Despite the difficult period due to the external aggression, Ukraine is not only successfully fighting the consequences of the accident but is also making every effort to transform the Chornobyl zone from a 'black hole' into a safe territory of change and modern technologies development," the message reads.
