KYIV, April 21 – The decrease in consumption of the main groups of construction materials (concrete, reinforced concrete, concrete products) amounted to 35% from the beginning of April, and it could accelerate to 50% by the end of the month, Director General of Kovalska Industrial and Construction Group Serhiy Pylypenko has said.

"We did not become aware of any significant changes and a decrease in the consumption of construction materials in March. Developers continued to work by inertia, but since April we have seen a significantly reduced dynamics. We estimate the weighted average in the market as 35% decline for the main construction materials, namely, concrete, reinforced concrete, concrete products. Now we see that April is moving according to 50% decline scenario," Pylypenko said during the online conference Property and Construction in Ukraine: Forecasts and Expectations.
