KYIV, April 15 – Some 54% of Ukrainians are more afraid of the economic consequences of the quarantine than coronavirus (COVID-19), compared to 43% in March. These are the results of a social survey, titled "Assessing the success of the government and the public reaction to the coronavirus epidemic and political events in the country," conducted by Kyiv International Institute Sociology (KIIS) from April 7-11.
Some 26% of respondents are more afraid of the COVID-19 epidemic in Ukraine than the economic consequences of quarantine (in March - 34%), while 13% are not afraid of either the first or the second, considering that the situation will normalize within one to two months (in March - 14%).
