KYIV, April 15 – A decline in turnover of the retail chains in the non-food segment amid lockdown and the anticipated economic downturn in 2020 could be 50% and more, industry executives said.
"The most optimistic forecast is a decline in the electronics and non-food retail market as a whole from the middle of March to the end of the year by 50% compared to last year,” Dmytro Derevytsky, a co-owner of Allo chain, said. “Rental rates should decrease by 60% to correspond to the level of demand that will exist on the market after the end of quarantine."
