KYIV, April 10 – The quarantine restrictions that are currently in force that include closure of businesses can cost Ukraine’s economy 3-5% of GDP per each month of quarantine, according to the Center for Economic Strategy.
"If the COVID-19 outbreak is recorded in a separate area, then the rest of the country should not stop activity. Therefore, it is necessary to switch from national to adaptive quarantine," the representatives of the center, together with ex-deputy health minister Pavlo Kovtonyuk, said during an online briefing in Kyiv in Friday.
