KYIV, April 9 – Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has asked the government to provide the company with a stabilization loan of $50 million at 5-6% to maintain the financial stability of the company.
"We wrote to all the authorities that could influence the situation, described the problems of the market, reported that we expect direct losses from downtime of $60 million in our company. We proposed a solution that provides for not direct subsidies to businesses, as in economically successful countries, but more loyal to the situation Ukraine - to provide us with a stabilization loan," UIA President Yevhen Dykhne said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
