WARSAW, Aug. 29 - Poland supports Ukraine's aspirations to join the European Union and NATO, Polish Foreign Affairs Minister Anna Fotyga said on Tuesday, following a meeting with Fotyga's Ukrainian counterpart, Borys Tarasiuk.

"I confirm Poland's support for Ukraine's aspirations, which will allow it to take a position in the EU in the future and also, if Ukraine's people and government agree, in NATO," Fotyga said. "We are and we will remain strategic partners."
