KYIV, April 7 – Interpipe, Ukraine’s largest producer of steel pipes, has contracted and paid for personal protective equipment (PPE) for doctors for UAH 35.3 million that it will send to hospitals in Dnipro, Novomoskovsk and Nikopol.
The equipment includes medical gloves, biological protection suits, respirators and other medical products.
It is important not only to secure funds for the acquisition of the equipment, but also to quickly purchase it, the company said. The lack of personal protective equipment for doctors is one of the main causes of the crisis that has reached the medical systems of China and Italy.
