KYIV, April 2 – The exchange rate of UAH 29.50/$1 used in the updated macroeconomic forecast for 2020 looks too optimistic in respect to receipts of the national budget, Executive Director of the Center for Economic Strategy Hlib Vyshlinsky said.

"In my opinion, the forecast of the average annual exchange rate, which the government used in the updated macroeconomic forecast, looks pessimistic in respect to the national currency, but too optimistic in respect to forecasting budget receipts," he said at an online press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
