KYIV, March 30 – Foreign Minister of Canada Francois-Philippe Champagne has assured his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba during their phone conversation that Canada will support Ukraine at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

"Dmytro Kuleba informed his Canadian counterpart about the situation with passing by the Verkhovna Rada of the laws that are necessary for further cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF. He asked his Canadian colleague to support Ukraine in this international financial institution. Francois-Philippe Champagne praised Ukraine's legislative progress on the way towards further cooperation with the IMF and assured [Kuleba] of Canada's support," the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine said on Monday.
