KYIV, March 27 – Ukraine’s grain output will probably decline to 72-73 million tons in the 2020/2021 marketing season, down from 74.6 million mt in 2019/2020, due to lack of moisture in the soil, agriculture analysis agency UkrAgroConsult reported Friday.
Ukraine’s grain exports are likely to drop to 50-51 million tons in 2020/2021, down from 54-55 million mt in 2019/2020, the agency reported.
The lower grain output will probably be the result of moisture shortage in southern parts of Ukraine, the agency said.
