KYIV, March 16 – Seaports of Ukraine in January-February 2020 handled more than 27 million tons of cargo, which is 17% more compared to the same period in 2019.

According to the press service of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, traditionally, the leaders in transshipment are grain, ore and containers.

The first place in terms of transshipment is occupied by grain cargo – more than 9 million tons (a rise of 9.5%). Moreover, more than 97% of this volume is the export of products of Ukrainian agricultural producers.
