KYIV, March 16 - Ukraine and the U.S. agreed on a plan that would enable supplies of up to 8 billion cubic meters of U.S. natural gas to European markets, Kostiantyn Chyzhyk, deputy energy minister, said.
The plan calls for delivery of up to 8 Bcm/year via a LNG terminal in Poland across the border to Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities, and will be later supplies to Europe during high-demand season.
