LONDON, Aug. 29 ??“ British-Dutch multinational oil company Royal Dutch Shell has signed an agreement to purchase gas from Poltava gas and oil company belonging to Britain??™s JKX Oil & Gas, the Financial Times newspaper reported.

The agreement foresees the purchase of at least 250 million cubic meters of gas over 12 months starting in September by a Shell subsidiary.
