KYIV, March 5 – Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) LLC is holding intensive negotiations with European gas transmission system operators to complete the launch of the virtual reverse gas flow and the merger of entry/exit points on the western borders of the country in several months.

"Since the virtual reverse flow with Poland has been launched since the end of January and covers the entire transit volume, it remains to expand the virtual reverse flow with Slovakia, which began on March 1, but it is only 10 million cubic meters, and to launch the reverse flow with Hungary," GTSOU Head Serhiy Makogon told the Energy Reform portal during the Energy Security Meeting at the Energy Club on Wednesday.
