WARSAW, Aug. 28 - Empik and Smyk, subsidiaries of the listed investment fund NFI Empik Media & Fashion, will buy controlling stakes in two Ukrainian retailers, NFI Empik announced.

"We've acquired an outpost in the attractive market of our eastern neighbor," NFI Empik's CEO Maciej Dyjas was quoted by Interfax-Ukraine as saying.
