KYIV, March 3 – Turboatom, the largest producer of turbine equipment in Ukraine, whose 75.2% stake is owned by the state, plans to receive net income of about UAH 2.9 billion in 2019, up from UAH 2.823 billion in 2018, the press service of the enterprise has said.
"We have a workload of the current year that is evenly across all the main types of production. In particular, we signed a contract with Energoatom for the equipment supply to Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP, which opens the possibility for us to modernize turbines with capacity of 1,000 MW at Ukrainian nuclear power plants, and subsequently Russian turbines as well under the import substitution program. This is our workload for the next five years," the press service said citing Viktor Subotin, the director general of Turboatom.
