KYIV, Feb 28 – The Cabinet of Ministers has supported the quota for the immigration of 5,000 highly qualified specialists from abroad for employment in Ukrainian IT companies, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported on his Telegram channel.

According to Fedorov, highly qualified IT specialists will be able to obtain a residence permit and be employed on the same conditions as Ukrainian citizens; immigrate with their family, be able to get registered as a sole proprietor in Ukraine. In addition, specialists who immigrated under the program, according to Fedorov, will not be tied to specific terms of stay in Ukraine, as well as to a specific job or position.
