KYIV, Feb 28 – The operators of the gas transmission systems of Ukraine and Slovakia from March 1 will launch a virtual gas reverse through the connection point Velke Kapusany-Uzhgorod with a daily capacity of 10 million cubic meters (104 GWh), the press service of the GTSOU has said.
“We have been going to this event for almost five years,” Serhiy Makohon, the head of GTSOU, said in a statement.
"In addition to the capacities of the Budince connection point used to import natural gas to Ukraine since 2014, Eustream and the GTSOU, in accordance with the signed cooperation agreement for the connection point Velke Kapusany-Uzhgorod, launch a backhaul, thereby further expanding the Slovak corridor for gas supplies to Ukraine," the operator said.
