KYIV, Feb 25 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Tuesday introduced into circulation the updated 200-hryvnia banknotes, which will gradually replace the old banknotes, the central bank has said on its website.
According to the report, the central bank plans to put into circulation about 5 million updated 200-hryvnia banknotes.
"From today, banks can receive updated banknotes with a face value of 200 hryvnias at the National Bank and give them to their customers," the press service said, citing Deputy Governor of the NBU Serhiy Kholod.
