KYIV, Feb 14 – The business confidence indicator in Ukraine, calculated by the State Statistics Service, in the first quarter of 2020 amounted to 103% compared to 113.4% and 105.9%, respectively, in the fourth and first quarters of 2019.

According to the State Statistics Service, there has been a deterioration in all four business confidence indicator components: in construction (from -18.9% in the fourth quarter of 2019 to -21.7%), in the processing industry (from -5.5% to -6, 4%), in the service sector (from + 1.6% to -3%) and in retail trade (from +13.7% to +3.7%).
