KIEV, Aug. 22 ??“ Russia??™s Lukoil-Nefetkhim has signed a contract with German engineering company UHDE Gmbh, a part of ThyssenKrupp Concern, on the construction of a suspended polyvinylchloride (PVC) plant at KarpatNaftoKhim Ltd. (Kalush in Ivano-Frankivsk region).
The contract to build the 300,000 ton per year capacity PVC facility was signed in Kiev Monday in the presence of Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, the government??™s press service reported Tuesday, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
