KYIV, Jan 30 – The Ukrainian side has not yet seen Iran's proper response to the investigation into the circumstances of the crash of the Boeing International Airlines of Ukraine (UIA) near Tehran, and the issue of setting up an international investigation team has not yet been resolved, said Prosecutor General Ruslan Riaboshapka.
"We initially work with our international partners. Several times we asked the Iranian government for international legal assistance. I also wrote sent inquiries to the Iranian prosecutor general. We requested information that is necessary for the investigation, asked about the interrogation of a certain number of people, about getting certain material evidence, including the remains of the aircraft. But we have not yet received answers to all these questions – still we see no proper response of that part of the Iranian authorities that we would like to see," said Riaboshapka in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
