KIEV, Aug. 22 - Astarta N.V. (the Netherlands, the parent company of Ukrainian agrarian holding Astarta) has raised PLN95 million (around $31.7 million) through the initial public offering (IPO) of a 20% stake on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Astarta-Kiev Director General Viktor Ivanchik said Monday, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
Ivanchik said that holding's stocks were sold to a number of investors from Poland, Britain, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden and Germany. A total 20 institutional investors purchased 83% of all offered stocks. The major institutional investor was Swiss investment fund East Capital, which currently owns around 5% of the company.
