GTSOU mulls merging borer entry/exit points to boost gas transportation
Journal Staff Report

KYIV, Jan 29 – Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC (GTSOU) is mulling the possibility of merging the western border entry/exit points of the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) into virtual interconnection points (VIP) bid to streamline operations and deepen regional market integration.

GTSOU Head Serhiy Makogon said in an interview with ICIS that this means that GTSO could cluster up the Budince-Velke Kapusany interconnection points on the Slovak border, Beregovo 1400 and Beregdaroc 800 on the Hungarian border and Drozdovychi-Hermanowice on the Polish border.
