KYIV, Jan 2 – The aggregate state (direct) and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine at the end of 2019 decreased to 51.6% of GDP from 62.7% of GDP in 2018, the Ministry of Finance has reported, with reference to recent data from the State Treasury Service.

"According to the report, the state debt at the end of 2019 amounted to UAH 1.764 trillion in hryvnia equivalent, and $75.5 billion in dollar terms and decreased in relation to GDP to about 45% at the end of 2019. The state-guaranteed debt at the end of the year was estimated at about 6.6% of GDP, "the ministry said.
