KYIV, Dec 27 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on December 26 received writ of execution and applied to the State Executive Service to execute the decision of the Shevchenkivsky District Court of October 1, 2019 to recover UAH 1.539 billion from the former owner of Bank Finance and Credit, Kostiantyn Zhevaho, in favor of the National Bank, according to the regulator's website.

"We will take all possible legal measures to recover funds for the implementation of the decision to pay off the bank's debt. Currently, the total debt of Bank Finance and Credit to the National Bank on all refinancing loans is UAH 6.6 billion," the head of the department of litigation with distressed assets, Serhiy Boiko, said.
